Last Monday, I went to see someone for my university project.
Then.... I went for a walk, and a drive.
Just some pictures:
During the trip however, I did a stupid thing. Oh wait, perhaps there were TWO stupid thingS.
And I won't talk about it here.
Enough to know that it was so stupid that whenever I thought about it, I feel like screaming and bang my head onto the wall... gedeGAAANG!
Sometimes in life, we just accidentally do stupid, embarrassing things don't we?
Haiz...
That evening, after the trip I went back to IMU for an "appointment" with Hui Fong and other friends.
And we went out for dinner at Pappa Rich in Kuchai Lama after that.
:)
I rarely get this kind of opportunity, to go out with friends till late at night.
At 10pm, we were STILL in the restaurant, and I reached home at almost 11pm (I usually am home by 10pm).
I messaged my mum telling her I'll be late and apologised for it. She was understanding, but on our way back to IMU from dinner, my brother called me asking why am I still out so late at night, and asked me to come home fast.
Whoa.. He really is exercising the "man-hood" authority mum rewarded to him; and he's starting to control me.
Duh!

Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show 2010
My father works for a Japanese advertising company.
And for the past 10days, he had been busy because the company is managing the Honda exhibition in KL Motor Show in PWTC.
The expo was held for 10days in PWTC, and today (12th Dec, Sunday) is the last day.
And my father's boss gave him 2 free tickets. :)
So, the rest is history.
The two tickets were actually meant for me and brother, but since my sister tagged along, we cheated, gave only two tickets but 3 ppl went in. It's either the staff at the counter "pretended" did not notice the extra of one person, or I was so good in hiding my siblings, heh...
And the first car we saw was Bezza. And man, it was really really beautiful!
See.... Nice isn't it?
With the concept of maximum interior and maximum interior, Bezza really caught our attention.
And guess what..........
It is by PERODUA!!!
I was soooo haapppyyy.... (ok, this so geds)
But really, it's unexpected to see such a wonderful car design by a local car manufacturer.
I'm not sure if this is something like Naza Ria (where the design came from KIA) but in the information given for Bezza, the designing team consists of locals and one Japanese man. So I hope this Bezza is a pure Malaysian.
Some other pictures from the expo.
One good thing I observed today was, the models for Proton wear really decent attire! Long sleeves with long pants, unlike models of other car manufacturers, mini skirts with sleeveless blouse.
Too bad I dont have the pictures of the models.
Thatego inner voice in me told me not to take their pics.
We set off to PWTC after performing our Maghrib at Masjid Bukhari, KL.
And before that , we were in Low Yat and even before that, we were in KLCC.
And now my feet are really aching.
And my eyes are getting tired.
Anyway, I am just very happy to see a lot of new Malaysian cars. I hope I can see them on the roads soon, though I wont be able to drive them for at least another 3yrs to come.
With that, good night!
Assalammualaikum.

Yes, that's a Bumble Bee behind him.
Modelling.. :p
I do not know why, but this Camaro car excites my brother. And he said guys will also be drooling over this car. Really?

Wedding in Johor
Last weekend, I went to Johor for my cousin sister's wedding.
The "groom fetching bride" ceremony was held at 8am in Pontian, Johor while the dinner was in JB, Johor.
My family and I set off from our house at 12.03am and I was the first driver in charge. That was kinda my first time driving for a long distant, at night! My father had just came back from Penang 30mins before we set off, and my mother did not have her routine evening nap thus, both of them were kind of "unsuitable" for driving.
I was actually sleepy too...but being excited of driving long distance at night, wins me over. I told my parents I was okay, and can drive, SAFELY. So yea, I drove and reached Pagoh at 2am, and my dad took the wheel from there.
We reached Masjid Pontian at 4, slept in the car in the mosque compound until Subuh prayer. After refreshing ourselves in the mosque, we headed to the house where the groom rented for the bride's family.
And from there, it all started.........
At approximately 8.15am, the groom and his men arrived, wearing a uniform of pink shirts! On the shirts were the couple's cartoon and names. So sweeeet! Too bad I don't have a good picture of the shirt, or I'll definitely post it here.
The "brothers" really faced a lot of challenges from the "sisters" - from the bride's side (which is my side!), and they took it all in their stride just for one mission - fetching the bride!
Well of course, let me explain... The tradition goes that the bride is "locked" in a room in the house and the bride sisterS will guard her and prevent the groom and his men from fetching the bride, unlesss....their demand is fulfilled. It is a fun game, although I do not really know the significant behind it. And lucky enough, most of them were English educated so more English is used than Mandarin, or I might have a hard time communicating...
I dont think I should blabber about how the games go but have some pictures! And I'll perhaps explain something.. :)
After that ceremony, all of us went to groom's house. And off me and my family to JB, leaving the rest in the house, since I have been pestering my dad to go round JB. And after lunch, we went to The Zone.
I thought The Zone will be a great, elegant place - seeing from its signboards. But apparently, it is kinda "old" and "uninteresting" Sorry Johor-ians! But undeniably, the things are a bit cheaper there, since they are duty free.

The groom and his men managed to pass through the gate, and is now waiting to pass through the grill. :) I know they came out with red packets, just that I am not sure how much is inside. :p
The sisters came out with a nasty game, asking the groom to wear a bra, with polo mints sewn on it. And the other brothers were required to pull the mints out, using their TEETH!!
After that ceremony, all of us went to groom's house. And off me and my family to JB, leaving the rest in the house, since I have been pestering my dad to go round JB. And after lunch, we went to The Zone.

When you bring parents who are tired of the long journey, and uninterested in shopping.... :p
Me and mum during the dinner
My cousin, Sui Ean being made up. The make up artist was always by her side, touching up any flaws on her make up.
My Ah Koo, new brother, Andrew, Sui Ean and Ah Kim.
They even got these cute little girls as bridemaids!
Almost all of the bride's family. :)

Happy Birthday Fatin Nilisa!
Happy (Belated) Birthhhdddaaayyy Dayang Fatin Nilisa!!
I do not know how am I supposed to write this post.
Should it be a long one? Or should it be a short one?
Should be a letter frm me to Fatin? Or should it be like some form of tributes to Fatin?
A letter is perhaps too romantic, but a tribute, reminds me of the obituaries!
Let's make it this way.............
10 Things You Should Know About Miss Dayang Fatin Nilisa
1. Her 21st birthday was on December 4th. Sorry Fatin, I tried to call you but it just didnt go through. And I was too busy to write this post then.
2. She is now studying Architecture in Manchester University, Manchester, UK.
3. She's a great artist. She draws very well, and paint well too. I'm amazed seeing her artwork, although she had always humbly say her friends draw better than she does, especially *** ****.
4. I met her for the first time on July 1st 2007, my first day in INTEC, Shah Alam. She was unsure whether I am a senior or junior at that time.
5. She was my housmemate in INTEC, together with Atikah and Ain.
6. She's a Sarawakian, and Atikah and me loved to tease her, by offering her a loaf of bread as her food supply for her to swim to Sarawak.
7. She is very particular about her artwork. I used to come out of the bathroom wet, and she will see how I walked across the hall into my room, intensely making sure I did not drop even one tiny drop of water onto her work. Man, I had to practice tip-toeing that I'm very good in it now.
8. She eats very slowly, very very slowly. All of us thought she'll eat faster during break fast in Ramadhan, and to our surprise, her speed of eating maintains the same!
9. She's fun, but sometimes can come out with absurd ideas. Ideas that sometimes either make me laugh my heart out, or knock some sense into her. Hahah...
10. She blogs. You can find her at nilisa89.wordpress.com

Purposeless
It's already 1.17am.
And I had just tweaked my blog template, AGAIN.
I used the template designer by blogger and edited the html.
There are still some "cacat cela" here and there, but just forget about them for now.
I need to sleep, I have to send my sister to school tomorrow morning.
Tomorrow (or rather, today), I'll have to face the people who all these while have been thinking they are way better than me, than us. I wonder how will the gathering be? Awkward? Dramatic? Or will everyone put up the best hypocritical face they have, and pretended nothing happened?
Despite the shouting, screaming and down-grading a fortnight ago?
